All About Lisa Marie Barnes

I enrolled at Berklee College of Music as I am on a road of self-discovery through music. My goal is to be proficient in my chosen instruments to have a better sense of self. Having more musical tools to express myself, I will be opening musical doors of creativity. I will derive satisfaction from sharing and teaching my methods of practicing and techniques on all instruments. When I write a piece of music, I want to convey what I melodically hear in my head and produce it in a recording. I want to pave a road to help more people enjoy learning music and that anyone can learn an instrument as long as they have passion and discipline. Another focal point is inspiring more people to learn and enjoy the lever harp. It's a niche instrument, and I am looking to find affordable ways to distribute harps to people who would like to learn.
I am looking forward to recording and producing my original music and distribute it on Spotify and other avenues.  I am available for collaboration on other unique musical projects. I am at different levels on each instrument but would love to be a part of various projects. Whether you need a bass player, piano, lever harp, harmonica, upright bass, guitar, acoustic guitar, electric guitar, flute, tenor sax, soprano sax, please contact me. I am easy going and love to network with other musicians.  I will be creating a video demo and resume for each instrument and hope to have this accomplished soon.
You do not have to be born with talent. It can be developed as long as you have passion. Music is my drug, and focusing on learning instruments has been my therapy and has helped me through some of the most challenging times in life. Music is healing, and I want to share that and inspire others that they can do the same.
